CHARACTER NAME: Camellia

Impressions and Info:

Camellia is just under average height, clocking in shy of 5'3''. Height aside, she's still sort of willowy and delicate and looks like a strong enough breeze could knock her over. She's pretty, with a smooth complexion, heart-shaped face, bright eyes and all that sort of nonsense. She's pale and her features will ping as being European or the fantasy equivalent to anyone able to pick up on that sort of thing. Her hair's long and glossy, raven black (I KNOW WHAT MY ICONS LOOK LIKE BUT I DON'T HAVE MUCH TO WORK WITH) and falls to her mid-back, with some strands framing her face.

Her clothes are always the same – a white, frilled dress blouse with a bow and cravat over the neck, under a plum purple winter coat. She wears two ribbons of the same shade in her hair and has an ankle-length grey skirt.

She's also dead.

Camellia is a ~SPOOKY GHOST~ and so, is not tangible or capable of typically interacting with other people. Characters with spiritual powers will be able to see and speak with her with no issue, but will not be able to touch her. Characters who have possession of her anchor (a diamond woman's engagement ring) will be able to see and speak with her regardless of any spiritual capabilities or lack thereof, but there must be concentrated effort on both parties' behalf for there to be any sort of physical contact. This is very tiring for her, too!

Cliffnotes backstory:

- Camellia was the daughter of the Evandale house, in a faux-Victorian England setting.
- Once she was old enough, her family started shopping her around for marriage.
- Camellia's childhood friend, a servant boy, who had long been in love with her, offered his hand in proposal and was shot down.
- Nice Guy Childhood Friend pushed back against this and eventually was smacked down and basically tossed out of the village.
- Knowing he would never see Camellia again, he asks her to come to a spot deep in the woods by their village. He does this ostensibly to say goodbye but actually plans to commit a murder-suicide in an 'I can't have you, no one can' bid.
- Promising her won't let her be alone, he stabs Camellia to death but is unable to go through with his own death. He hastily buries Camellia's body, places her ring on top of the grave and flees for his life.
- Camellia manifests as a ghost some time later, unable to remember any of her life before all this. All she remembers is the sight of her own blood in the moonlight and that she was abandoned by someone who promised to be with her forever.

Personality cliffnotes:

- A Proper Upper Class Young Lady
- Ditzy and a bit naive as a result of being sheltered by her parents.
- Smarter than she looks but more booksmart and well-educated than street smart or in a practical, applicable way. Would be good at trivia games, probably.
- Affectionate and kind-hearted
- Absolutely, indescribably, unceasingly lonely and desperate for human interaction again
- Terrified of abandonment
- Grows very attached very quick as a result of the above

In addition, i'm a huge weenie baby with a big ass phobia of spiders and needles! i can handle descriptions of them if they come up in threads but p l e a s e don't spring images of them on me out of nowhere if possible!
